FlendyAds Campaign Segment Targeting

FlendyAds Segment Targeting option can provide campaigns to reach specific users in certain countries. Businesses may be confused about how to take complete advantage of these features. Some also may not fully understand how FlendyAds determines target audience locations.

This post dives into what FlendyAds Segment Targeting is and how location is determined. Well also cover scenarios when you might want to use the different capabilities offered. Along the way, well take a nerdy detour into segmented audience analysis.

Segment targeting

At the time of this writing, FlendyAds allows you to target your segment by Country. You can also target multiple countries within a single campaign, though there are no limits to how many specific targeting parameters you can build, its recommended to include up to 25 individual countries, in a single campaign for effective targeting.

Benefits of Segement targeting

  • Segment lets you select specific locations(countries) where you want your ad to be shown
  • By default, your ads can show to people in, regularly in, or who've shown interest in your targeted locations. For example, if you own a Bread Industry in Ghana and choose Ghana as a targeted location, your ads can show to people located or regularly in Ghana, or to people who have expressed interest in Ghana Bread Industries (now or in the past).
  • Segment targeting helps you focus your advertising to help find the right customers for your business, and will hopefully help you increase your profits as a result.

Keep in mind Segment targeting is based on a variety of signals, including users' settings, devices, and behavior on our platform, and is FlendyAds best effort to serve ads to users who meet your location settings. Because these signals vary, 100% accuracy is not guaranteed in every situation. As always, you should check your overall performance metrics to help ensure your settings are meeting your advertising goals and change them accordingly.
Note: Make sure that your Ads are in the language you are targeting as your Segements. Example: If you choose Ghana as your Segment then your Ad should be in English.
