FlendyAds Campaign Geographic TargetingFlendyAds Geographic Targeting option can provide campaigns to reach specific users in certain countries. Businesses may be confused about how to take complete advantage of these features. Some also may not fully understand how FlendyAds determines target audience locations.
This post dives into what FlendyAds Geographic Targeting is and how location is determined. We’ll also cover scenarios when you might want to use the different capabilities offered. Along the way, we’ll take a nerdy detour into segmented audience analysis.
At the time of this writing, FlendyAds allows you to target your segment by Country. You can also target multiple countries within a single campaign, though there are no limits to how many specific targeting parameters you can build, its recommended to include up to 25 individual countries, in a single campaign for effective targeting.
Benefits of Geographic targeting
- Geographic lets you select specific locations(countries) where you want your ad to be shown
- By default, your ads can show to people in, regularly in, or who've shown interest in your targeted locations. For example, if you own a Bread Industry in Ghana and choose Ghana as a targeted location, your ads can show to people located or regularly in Ghana, or to people who have expressed interest in Ghana Bread Industries (now or in the past).
- Geographic targeting helps you focus your advertising to help find the right customers for your business, and will hopefully help you increase your profits as a result.
Keep in mind
Geographic targeting is based on a variety of signals, including users' settings, devices, and behavior on our platform, and is FlendyAds best effort to serve ads to users who meet your location settings. Because these signals vary, 100% accuracy is not guaranteed in every situation. As always, you should check your overall performance metrics to help ensure your settings are meeting your advertising goals and change them accordingly.
Note: Make sure that your Ads are in the language you are targeting as your Geographics. Example: If you choose Ghana as your Geographic then your Ad should be in English.
